24th February 2025, SOS CV Namibia and NAC organized a Career Guidance for 20 young people (10 male, 10 female) who visited the Namibian Airport company as part
of Career Guidance and Networking opportunities.
On February 24th, 2025, SOS Children's Villages Namibia, in partnership with the Namibia Airports Company (NAC) and Discover Airlines, hosted an inspiring Career Guidance and Networking event for 20 young people (10 male, 10 female). This initiative aimed to offer valuable insights into diverse career paths within the aviation sector.
During their visit to Namibia Airports Company, participants engaged with professionals from various fields, including those from Discover Airlines, as well as firefighting and logistics specialists. This direct interaction with airline professionals, alongside other experts, facilitated valuable networking, skills development, and exposure to diverse career options. By touring different NAC departments and interacting with industry representatives, the young people gained a comprehensive understanding of potential career paths, empowering them to make informed decisions about their future.
This one-day event successfully enhanced employability skills and broadened career horizons, equipping participants with the knowledge and connections necessary to pursue their professional aspirations within the aviation industry.
